NBA launches star-studded playoff-themed short film set on “NBA Lane”

The NBA today is releasing “Playoffs on NBA Lane,” the latest installment of its season-long campaign for its 75th anniversary season. The two-minute-plus digital film is launching across all NBA social media platforms and on NBA.com/75. It focuses on the excitement, culture and history of the NBA postseason. The fictional neighborhood of “NBA Lane” was introduced in a film ahead of this season’s tipoff. Created in conjunction with Translation, N.Y., the short film was directed by Emmett and Brendan Malloy. “Playoffs on NBA Lane” will begin airing on TV on Saturday, April 9. Additionally, 15- and 30-second versions will air cross-platform during the postseason. It features an lineup of players, broadcasters and fans. The full cast includes:
